Vesta Merrell Clark Young Wardle of Springville, UT age 89 died at the home of her birth January 28, 1994 from complications of a stroke suffered November 11, 1993.
She was born May 3, 1904 to Cyrus Henry Clark and Clara Esther Miller and was the fourth of ten children. She obtained her education in the Springville schools and was eventually married to Theadore Maeser Young of Vernal, UT on June 28, 1926. The marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple.
Her husband, Maeser, preceded her in death February 13, 1973. After which she married an old friend, Jim Wardle in May of 1977. He died in 1982. She is survived by one son, Vern Maeser Young, one daughter, Esther Rae (Clair) Barney, both of Springville; as well as one stepson, Rex (Anna Mae) Wardle, also of Springville.
She is also survived by nine grandsons: Mark, Mike, Scott, Marty, Matthew and Max Morgan, Eric, Brian and Jonathon Young.
On the Wardle side, four grandchildren: Claudia Olsen, Lynn Wardle, Karen Olsen and Cleo Wardle. Also 29 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.
She is also survived by two sisters: Mable (Bird) Brown and Louise Farley & numerous nieces & nephews. Burial was February 2, 1994.
